Miniatürk is hosting a dynamic model exhibition of a size never seen before in Turkey! The Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition, prepared in cooperation with İBB Kültür AŞ and ModelPort, welcomes its visitors with 10,000 figures reduced by 1/87.

 

The story of the Historical Peninsula, one of the oldest settlements in the world in the capital of civilizations, stretching from the 1600s to the 19th century, has been modeled in accordance with its original form. Developed in 5 years in the light of historical sources, the Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition revives the existing structures, social life and historical events on an area of 400,000 square meters as they were 400 years ago.

 

With 10,000 figures, 50,000 led lights, history has moved to the present

 

Huge model exhibition combining culture, art and education for the first time in the world, 10,000 figures and 50,000 led lights; hundreds of people, carriages, fires, torches and moving figures, bring history to the present.

 

Historical events were animated in the exhibition accompanied by sounds

 

Hundreds of scenes, with original sounds such as janissary revolts, horse-drawn carriages, fires, the call to prayer, the Mehter March, will take its visitors on a journey through history.

 

Miniatürk will open a brand new door for history enthusiasts

 

From Hippodrome, where special days were held in the 16th century, to the Ottoman Empire's first corporate money printing facility, the Mint of Amire; The reflection of our cultural heritage and historical background will meet with history lovers at the Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition, where every detail is meticulously positioned, from the Blue Mosque, decorated with more than 200,000 Iznik tiles, to the Topkapı Palace Elephant Garden, where it is rumored that elephants were once fed.

 

Opportunity to experience historical sections in 3D!

 

Visitors visiting the exhibition will be accompanied by interactive screens providing information on scaled scenes and structures in 7 languages; Sections from the construction phase of the exhibition will also be reflected on the screens. Located at a seperate section in Miniatürk, the Istanbul Historical Peninsula Model Exhibition will also offer an extraordinary experience to its visitors with its 3D mapping show.
